John Boos and Company has been a primary commercial manufacturer of hard maple butcher block products since 1887. Built from select northern hard rock maple, their butcher blocks will last for generations. They are made to professional standards by John Boos Craftsmen, some of whom have been with the company for 40 years. Their blocks are supplied to institutions, restaurants and even the White House kitchen. John Boos Kitchen pieces may require some assembly.

John Boos stainless and stainless/wood combinations are designed for restaurant use or quality-conscious consumers in the residential market. They are VERY heavy duty.
